How to use cPanel email on Windows

1. Know your mailboxThe address you created in cPanel under Email Accounts, e.g. sales@yourcompany.com.
2. Have its passwordSet or reset it in cPanel: Email Accounts, Manage. It is separate from your cPanel login.
3. Install ECOMHUTSY WebmailDownload for Windows.
4. Sign inEnter the address and password. The app finds mail.yourcompany.com by itself.

If the app cannot find the server

Open cPanel, Email Accounts, Connect Devices: it lists the exact incoming and outgoing server. Enter them under Server settings: IMAP port 993, SMTP port 465.

Typical cPanel hosts

Bluehost, HostGator, Namecheap shared hosting, A2 Hosting, InMotion and many regional hosts use cPanel; the steps are the same.

Troubleshooting

• Password refused: test it at yourdomain.com/webmail.
• Server not found: if your domain uses Cloudflare, mail.yourdomain.com must not be proxied; or use the server host name from Connect Devices.
• Mailbox full: raise the quota in cPanel or delete large old emails.
